BIO

    

Paula Picciani was born in Buenos Aires, in 1981. He lives and works in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

Participates in the Cazadores Work Clinic Program with Sergio Bazán and Florencia Qualina in contemporary art theory. I conduct a work analysis clinic with Fabián Burgos, Mauro Koliva and Mariano Vilela. She graduated in 2001 in Scenography and Costume Design at the Saulo Benavente Institute of Scenic Design and completed a Technician's Degree in Scenographic Production at the Higher Institute of Arts of the Teatro Colon. In 2020 she received the Sustain Culture I and II Scholarship from the National Fund for the Arts and the Strengthen Culture Scholarship from the Ministry of National Culture. Her works were awarded with a Mention in the Artistic Creation Award of the University of Belgrano, Honorable Mention in the Federal Cultural Competition for Environmental Action, 1st prize at the XXIV Visual Arts Hall of La Paz, Entre Ríos . She participates in group exhibitions, among which the following stand out: 16th Bancor Prize at the Tamburini Museum, 29th Prize for artistic creation at the University of Belgrano, How many days does time have? at Fundación Cazadores, 6th Macsur Award-Museum of Contemporary Art of the South, 19th Coronel Suárez Brandenberg Hall, 10th Visual Arts Hall of the Province of La Pampa, 8th Carnacini Museum Small Format Hall, National Pre Biennial Art Award UNLAM Comprehensive.
